NYSE Euronext Exchange Visit

Bohan & Bradstreet had the opportunity to tour the NYSE Euronext Exchange on 2/28/14.  The facility had breathtaking architecture and artifacts (museum quality), and a story that dates back over 200+ years.  We toured the “pitch” room, the elegant conference room, and the trading floor.  We also saw where CNBC conducts their daily, live market updates. 

The New York Stock Exchange's roots trace back to an agreement signed under a Buttonwood tree in 1792.  Today, the exchange trades equities, futures, options, fixed-income, and exchange-traded products. With approximately 8,000 listed issues from more than 55 countries, NYSE Euronext's equities markets represent one-third of the world's equities trading and the most liquidity of any global exchange group.
